Shelma Silveira
Shelma Silveira first joined JLA in 2020 as an Intern, where she assisted in the drafting of lease agreements, settlement agreements and legal memoranda. She also supported legal research across a range of practice areas, including Mining, Oil & Gas, Banking and Tax Law.
Following the completion of her postgraduate studies in London, Shelma rejoined the firm and currently serves as a Legal Consultant, with a primary focus on Corporate and Commercial Law. Her practice includes advising on corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters, while also supporting other practice areas across a broad range of legal matters.
Shelma holds an LL.B (Hons) from City St George's, University of London, and an LL.M in Law and Technology from King's College London. She also completed a postgraduate qualifying business programme at James Cook University in Singapore.
Shelma is fluent in English and Tetum.
